Visual Identity

Building a visual identity from scratch.

Upon arrival, Ouest Car had nothing: no logo, no colour palette, no typography. The sector's temptation: car silhouette, tyre, wrench, exactly what every competitor does. The final logo plays on the initials O and C: the O subtly takes the shape of a bolt, and the two letters together evoke a clamp. A subtle automotive anchor, not a literal one. The palette draws on the colour codes of Top Garage and BMW, the two natural references of the garage, nuanced in HSL to give them their own character.

The identity applied to a physical medium.

Once the brand guidelines were approved, the identity was applied to the garage's first physical medium: a large-format banner installed at the entrance. The first visible touchpoint from the street, it faithfully reflects the colours, typography and logo defined upstream. Consistency between digital and print, from the very moment the guidelines were put in place.

Results

1st position on Google for local keywords since November 2024, maintained despite an SEO error identified and corrected during the year. Active newsletter with 384 contacts and 45% open rate on the best campaign. V2 site designed with a complete UX methodology (personas, site architecture, user flows, design system, 6 high-fidelity pages) before a single line of code.
